Hello, people! This is just to let you know that some change has been taking place since the release of my third album Trains last July.
And this is what the change is all about: I am not a Helsinki-based singer-songwriter anymore but rather a London-based one. How exciting is that? Very exciting, I would reply.
I have played some open mic gigs here, and tonight (28 November) I will play my third proper one. The venue is called The Castle, and it's located at 44 Commercial Street (E1) near Brick Lane and Aldgate East, and the night is called The Big Smoke, and the night has a Facebook event, and you should come round if you happen to be free and nearby.
I have also started working on my next releases but the plans are not at all fixed yet. I might put out an EP. I might put out a full-length album. I might put out something in Finnish. We'll see.
I hope to see you all soon!

COMING SOON: TRAINS
My new album Trains will be released on 29 July. Here's the first song you get to hear from there. It's called The Disaster.
The album was recorded at two homes: mine and and my friend's. That's probably one of the reasons the album has a certain home-made feel to it, yet at the same time the compositions are somewhat more varied than before. I wanted to lean more towards the lo-fi end of things - the main percussions on the album are a cardboard box and a tambourine.
Here's the cover of the album. It's made by Tuomas Kärkkäinen.
Here's the track listing:
1 Six Weeks Since the Election Day
2 Drunken Escapist
3 My Head Is an Envelope
4 You're Living on the Same Street
5 In Between Stations
6 Helsinki 53
7 World Painted White
8 The Disaster
Trains will be released by Siko Records.

BAR LOOSE, 10 JULY
I am happy to inform you all that I will be playing Bar Loose in Helsinki on Wednesday 10 July! Another act to hit the stage are the Statues Made of Matchsticks. Nice!
Also, this little piece of paper (along with two lovely Verbatim compact discs) arrived in my apartment today in an envelope...
...which is to say all the hearable parts of my forthcoming album Trains are now completed. You'll get to hear them soon.

NEW SONG, NEW ALBUM
Hey there. I'm still alive, and I've got some news.
First of all, last week a friend of mine asked to write a song for his campaign, and so... I wrote a song for his campaign. The song is titled Energy, and there's also a nice music video to go with it.
-------
Lately I have also been working on a successor for my 2012 release Hearts Somewhere. The album is almost recored, mostly by me here at home. Next week I will travel to Tampere, team up with my old mate Jani and put the rest of the pieces together. You will get to know when there's something to hear. Or to listen to, if you like.
The album will be titled, as it seems now, Trains.
I like trains.
