Quick update

It's been relatively quiet here lately, as you probably could have seen, but here's something to tell you I'm alive: a quick update on what's going on at the moment.

My second album is recorded, mixed and mastered, and the cover art is also well on its way. The album will see its release early next year! We - that meaning the band that I play with - have also been rehearsing for shows we are planning to play starting from January.

You will get to hear the first taste of the album in the near future, so stay tuned!

Introducing the Band

Since January, I have been rehearsing with a backing band. We had our first gig last week, and there will be more gigs to come as soon as we get things fixed. Can't wait!

We are currently playing as a trio, me taking care of the guitar and vocals, Lilli playing the bass and Aatu banging the drums.

Meanwhile, here are two pictures taken at the show we played at an invite-only festival in the countryside of Southern Finland.

The second album is recorded!

I'm very happy to announce that today I finished the recording of my second full-length album! Now the songs are going to get mixed. Later this summer you will probably get to hear something. Stay tuned. I'm excited.

Update!

Here's a little update about what's been going on recently in the musical world of mine!

The recording of my second full-length album is almost finished - the only things missing are some vocal harmonies. And of course the record has to be mixed and mastered and released somewhere and somehow after that. I guess the outcome will be a bit louder and dreamier, but also acoustic and folky at times. I'm hoping to get the first song for people to listen to later this summer.

I have also been rehearsing with a backing band, including a drummer and a bassist. We are going to make our first appearance in late July, but it's going to be an invite-only event in the Finnish countryside. Anyway, we're hoping to play some shows in the autumn and will let you know when we get some dates fixed.

So stay tuned for new songs and new information!
