BAR LOOSE, 10 JULY

I am happy to inform you all that I will be playing Bar Loose in Helsinki on Wednesday 10 July! Another act to hit the stage are the Statues Made of Matchsticks. Nice!

Also, this little piece of paper (along with two lovely Verbatim compact discs) arrived in my apartment today in an envelope...

...which is to say all the hearable parts of my forthcoming album Trains are now completed. You'll get to hear them soon.

NEW SONG, NEW ALBUM

Hey there. I'm still alive, and I've got some news.

First of all, last week a friend of mine asked to write a song for his campaign, and so... I wrote a song for his campaign. The song is titled Energy, and there's also a nice music video to go with it.

Lately I have also been working on a successor for my 2012 release Hearts Somewhere. The album is almost recored, mostly by me here at home. Next week I will travel to Tampere, team up with my old mate Jani and put the rest of the pieces together. You will get to know when there's something to hear. Or to listen to, if you like.

The album will be titled, as it seems now, Trains.

I like trains.

LIBERTE TONIGHT

Hey there, everyone! We'll be playing tonight at Liberte in Helsinki, and it will be the last show of our informal Hearts Somewhere record release tour. Also the awesome bands Neat Neat and Drn Drn will hit the stage! The first band will start playing around nine. Everyone is warmly welcome!

DJ DEBUT

I will be playing some excellent tracks picked from my record shelf tonight on 1st of May at Mbar's Acoustic Tuesday club. Probably outdoors. The band Rautakoura will play at 8, and I will start with my cd's after them, around 9.

And I have never been a DJ before.
